CCFC & SBITC have sponsored this year’s boys and girls indoor tournaments, providing trophies and medals for the winners and runners up, and certificates for all participants at every school in the tournament.
Sky Blue Sam was on hand to present matchday tickets for Coventry City’s upcoming fixture against Swindon Town at the Ricoh Arena. All of the finalist schools received tickets to the game and will be able to watch the Sky Blues live from the stands next weekend, as they continue their charge for a top six finish.
In the boys tournament, Finham Primary School were the winners, beating All Souls Catholic Primary in the final. Meanwhile in the girls competition, Christ the King Catholic Primary were the victors in the final against Pearl Hyde Primary.
Coventry Primary Schools Sport Association works in primary schools in Coventry to arrange competitions and tournaments between schools throughout the year in a range of sports, including football, cross country, cricket among others.
This gives children of all abilities the chance to represent their schools in competitive sport, enjoy the benefits of physical activity and develop the skills that are enhanced through playing sport.
