Coventry City open their league campaign with an away trip to Swindon Town, as we feature five more key dates for the League One away schedule.
The Sky Blues travel to the Den on September 10th 2016 in a repeat of the first - and possibly most memorable - away trip of last season. Mowbray’s men stunned the South London side with a 4-0 win back in August 2015, with goals from Adam Armstrong (2), Ruben Lameiras and Jim O’Brien.
City also travel to newly relegated Charlton Athletic on October 15th 2016, with the sides having last met in a Championship encounter back in 2009 - which ended 0-0.
Local derbies against Walsall and newly promoted side Northampton Town will take place on October 29th 2016 and January 28th 2017 respectively, while the trip to Stadium MK is on March 18th 2017.
