TEAM NEWS: Nuneaton Town v Coventry City - Ruben Lameiras partners Marcus Tudgay and Kelly-Evans in front three

9 July 2016

Midfielder Andy Rose makes the starting XI for City's opening preseason fixture against Nuneaton Town...

Tony Mowbray includes Devon Kelly-Evans as part of a front three, with Marcus Tudgay and Ruben Lameiras in support.

Lee Burge starts in goal after recovering from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for the second half of last season, while Jordan Willis is set to make a first team return from the bench after overcoming a knee injury.

Captain Sam Ricketts will anchor the back four with Andy Rose and Callum Maycock occupying the central midfield areas. Jacob Whitmore and Ryan Haynes will play on the wings.

The Sky Blues manager has plenty of choice from his substitutes, with U21s starlets such as Dion Kelly-Evans and George Thomas as well as Jodi Jones and new signing Marvin Sordell, all available from the bench.
