REWIND: Walsall 0-2 Coventry City - The Sky Blues secure 14/15 victory over the Saddlers

12 January 2016

City secured three points over the Saddlers in this impressive 2-0 victory and City will be looking for the same tonight...

The Sky Blues' last win over the Saddlers came last season at the Banks' Stadium.

There was early drama as City were awarded an early penalty, which Marcus Tudgay missed. But Jim O'Brien was on hand shortly after to smash in the 2014/15 Goal of the Season as he let fly from 35-yards.

Late on, Tudgay netted his first goal for the club with a header to round off a great day for the Sky Blues.

The day also saw the Sky Blues field the youngest back four in the club's entire history, with Aaron Phillips, Jordan Willis, Matthew Pennington and Ryan Haynes all helping the Sky Blues to a clean sheet.

Here are the highlights from that day!
