Coventry City have signed winger Kyle Spence until the end of the season.

The Sky Blues Academy graduate has signed a contract with the club which will see him complete the season with the club.

Spence was part of the Crystal Palace Academy until he joined the City Academy at the start of the 2014/15 season.

He impressed during the Under-18 and Under-21 campaigns which saw him make his professional debut in the 1-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Spence will now join up with the City squad where he'll play with the Under-21s and could make his debut against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.

Under-21s coach Lee Glover said: "We're delighted to see Kyle link up with the squad and I'm sure he'll have a positive impact on the group.

"Kyle enjoyed a great season with the Academy last year and I'm sure his attributes, pace and agility, will only help us for the rest of the season.

"I'm looking forward to working with him to see what he can prove on the pitch."
