LEGENDS DAY: Introducing an extended 87-page PUSB special with interviews from John Motson and Bobby Gould

12 February 2016

We celebrate the mastermind behind the ‘Sky Blue’s Revolution’ in Saturday's exclusive match-day programme...

Legends Day is always a special occasion at the Ricoh Arena and this year will be no exception as we celebrate the life and times of one of the most prolific managers in Coventry’s modern history; Jimmy Hill.

Saturday’s PUSB edition will include a special 18-page feature dedicated to Jimmy Hill with exclusive interviews from ex-player Dietmar Bruck, player and manager, Bobby Gould and the iconic voice of BBC broadcaster, John Motson.

We profile Jimmy Hill’s immense contribution to the world of football, how he shaped the institutions of the game and his impact as a manager and TV personality.

The piece includes John Motson on his admiration for the man he called ‘football’s innovator’:

“He was a very big support mechanism for me and no doubt for other commentators as well.

“Jimmy was very much an innovator; he brought a new dimension to everything he did. It applied in his role as a manager and the same was replicated in his broadcast career.”

You can now pre-order your programme from Curtis Sport and it'll also be available around the ground so make sure you pick up the special edition PUSB.
