HEAD TO HEAD: Coventry City vs Bury- In 95 years, the sides are level on wins in the all-time head-to-head

We take a look at City’s record against the Shakers ahead of the weekend’s game...

Coventry City go into their game against Bury with both teams having won 17 games and drawing eight in the 95-year history of the fixture.

The Shakers have had the edge over recent years. Since August 2011, Bury have won two out of the last four games with one draw between the clubs, and one win for City .

That victory for the Sky Blues came in February 2013 with a solid 2-0 away win at Gigg Lane, as current Shaker Leon Clarke and Carl Baker sealed the victory for City.

In the late 60s City had their best run against the Shakers, as they were unbeaten in five games against them from 1965-1967, winning four and drawing one. February 1967 was to be the last meeting between the sides for 44 years before August 2011.

Going into Saturday’s game against Bury, Tony Mowbray’s men will be looking to get the three points, that will edge them in front of the Shakers in the all time head-to-head record.
