The club are delighted to announce the former captain will be attending the CCFPA event for our annual Legends Day...

Coventry City's 1987 FA Cup winning captain Brian Kilcline has now been confirmed for Legends Day.

'Killer' will be attending the Legends Day event where the club are set to host over 40 former players and Legends from the club's proud history.

Kilcline moved to the club from Notts County in 1984 and spent seven years with the Sky Blues, making 173 appearances, scoring 28 goals. The City legend lifted the trophy for the club after City triumphed in the 1987 FA Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur, an image which has become iconic for the City and the FA Cup.

Some of the other confirmed former players for the day include; Dennis Mortimer, Greg Downs, Ernie Hunt, Andy Blair, Chris Cattlin, Bill Glazier, Garry Thompson, John Williams, Bobby Gould – with many more expected to join the celebration over the coming weeks.

Legends Day is always a sell-out event, where supporters are given the unique opportunity to wine and dine with their favourite City stars from years gone by.
