John Salako celebrated Coventry’s second win of the season with their highest-ever Premier League victory.
Blackburn Rovers, champions just seven months previous, were on the receiving end of a 5-0 rout on a snowy pitch at Highfield Road.
Salako, who scored the fifth, spoke to the Daily Mirror afterwards: “To outplay the champions like we did has given all of us a great boost.”
