The Sky Blues conceded late as they suffered defeat against Sheffield United at the Ricoh Arena.
Billy Sharp opened the scoring, emphatically finishing past 'keeper Reice Charles-Cook, before Daniel Agyei's second half strike looked to have secured a point for the home side.
However, following a break in play after protests from the City supporters, Sharp scored his second of the game late on, smashing in the rebound after his initial effort was saved, to give the Blades all three points.
