NEWS: Coventry City and Ticketmaster issue joint statement regarding matchday ticketing

10 August 2016

The club issue an apology to any fans who were inconvenienced when attempting to purchase tickets during the week...

Coventry City FC and Ticketmaster would like to offer a formal apology to any supporter who experienced difficulties purchasing tickets for the Portsmouth fixture last night.

The Club have teamed up with a new ticketing provider for the 2016/17 season, and although the service is still very much in its infancy, we value our supporters’ feedback and have a commitment to provide our fans with the best matchday experience possible.

With that in mind, the club have taken the decision to reintroduce cash turnstiles for the upcoming Shrewsbury and Bury fixtures, alongside the option to purchase tickets online. The print at home option will still be available, as well as the option to purchase on the day at the Stadium Ticket Office, which will be fully operational from 11.00am on Saturday 13th and 10.30am on Tuesday 16th.

Printing at home no longer requires ticket collection at the stadium, so supporters will be able to print for free and directly access the stadium with their print out.

Season Ticket sales will officially end on Friday 12th at 11.59pm, and any supporter who wishes to purchase a Season Ticket between now and then will be issued with paper tickets until their card arrives.

Ticket Options:
  • Online (print at home or collection). Click here.
  • In person - at the Butts Park Ticket Office and the Ricoh Arena Matchday Ticket Office
  • Cash turnstiles on Matchday, in blocks 14,15 and 25.
