The Sky Blues played out a 0-0 draw with visiting side Bury at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday evening, as they picked up their second point of the 2016/17 campaign.
The Shakers had a few chances of note, but none that really troubled Reice Charles-Cook, as full-back Greg Leigh ran 40 yards before shooting and then captain Anthony Kay blazed over the crossbar.
The Sky Blues introduction of Jodi Jones and Kyel Reid just after the break sparked the home side in to life, as the pace of the new forward pairing gave Bury something to think about.
Jones laid on chances for Jordan Willis and Dion Kelly-Evans but both were off target while Reid tried his luck from distance on a couple of occasions.
