29 April 2016

CCFC will be holding a short service to commemorate the life and times of the man behind the Sky Blue revolution...

The ‘final journey’ of Jimmy Hill will take place this Saturday at the Ricoh Arena before Coventry City’s game against Sheffield United.

At 1pm, part of Jimmy’s ashes will be scattered as the new Jimmy Hill Memorial Garden which will be officially opened at the stadium ahead of this season's final offering of football action at the Ricoh Arena.

A short service will take place at 1pm to remember the former Sky Blues Manager and Chairman, and supporters are invited to join proceedings.

As with the incredible celebration event at the Cathedral in February, donations of help have generously been given by Coventry City FC and the following local companies:

· The Ricoh Arena
· Steel Construction Ltd
· Planet Granite
· E.S Wright and Son Ltd
· Jaguar Cars/ Jaguar Brass Band
· The Coventry City Diamond Club

Thank you to all supporters that have been a part of the celebrations of the life of the renowned Jimmy Hill and his Sky Blue legacy.
