Tony Mowbray has revealed that James Maddison is in contention to face Wigan at the weekend following a return to fitness...
Sky Blues boss, Tony Mowbray will be boosted by the return of 19-year old James Maddison to the squad following a short term injury.
The forward picked up a hip injury during a spell on international duty, which was his first call up to England’s Young Lions squad.
Mowbray also confirmed the fitness of ex-England man, Joe Cole and suggested that 19-goal striker Adam Armstrong will return to the fold against Wigan on Saturday.
Mowbray said: “Good to have Joe [Cole] and James [Maddison] available. I look at the potential of the squad, there are some good players in there.
“Adam should come back in to the fold. He'll want to get over that 20 goal barrier.”
“We will have some good options in the final third of the pitch.”
