HEAD TO HEAD: Coventry City v Bradford - The visitors edge the record for overall wins

19 April 2016

Take a look at the head-to-head record between the Sky Blues and Bradford City as League One encounters have traditionally yielded a draw...

The Sky Blues host Bradford City on Tuesday evening with the fixture the final evening game for City’s 15/16 League One campaign.

The two teams have met 27 times previously, with the Sky Blues sealing six victories and Bradford claiming nine.

The highest stat is for games drawn between City and Bradford, just as the scoreline reflected back in November. A goalless draw was played out at Valley Parade, as a point was enough for the Sky Blues to maintain their position at the top of League One.

Bradford stretched their unbeaten league run to nine matches in that fixture as they jumped in to a play-off spot.

The most recent home tie between the two was staged at the Ricoh Arena in March 2015. Frank Nouble put the Sky Blues in front at the end of the first half when he tapped in Aaron Phillips's low cross. But the Bantams drew level through a wonderful free-kick from Mark Yeates, leaving the score at 1-1.

The two clubs have met five times in League One over the past three seasons and four of those encounters have ended in a draw. The Sky Blues only have a 22.22% win ratio against Bradford, but will be hoping to amend that in their favour when Bradford visit on Tuesday evening.
