TEAM NEWS: Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray faces selection headache ahead of Scunthorpe trip

11 September 2015

The Sky Blues will have plenty of options in the forward areas going into the weekend's game at Glanford Park...

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray will see the return of Adam Armstrong and Bryn Morris for the weekend's game against Scunthorpe United.

Armstrong and Morris missed the trip to Burton Albion last weekend due to international duty with England Under-19s and Under-20s respectively.

James Maddison, Jordan Willis and Jack Finch are the long-term absentees for the trip to Glanford Park, but City should have options throughout the pitch.

New signing Ryan Kent is expected to be involved and Mowbray has a selection headache after Marcus Tudgay's impressive performance in the 2-1 win over the Brewers.

Mowbray said: "We've got the three long-term absentees but other than that, I hope everyone is fit and raring to go for the game.

"I think we've got some better options for the football club now and it's all about picking the right formula to try and win the games.

"We welcome the lads back from international duty and you'll have to wait and see what we do. We always said with Marcus that he wasn't going to play every game.

"Marcus did fabolously well for us at the weekend and we knew he can turn in that sort of performance, that's why he was given a contract.

"His experience is important as when the games get tight, you need to lean back on experience."
