HEAD-TO-HEAD: Coventry City vs Chesterfield - City have only lost one of the last ten against the Spireites

The Sky Blues have a good record in the head-to-head standings going into tomorrow's game...

Coventry City take on Chesterfield tomorrow at the Ricoh Arena and go into the game with a good record against the Spireites in the head-to-head standings.

After being promoted to League One as League Two champions in the 2013/14 season, the Spireites joined City in the same division for the first time since the 1960/61 season.

The two teams have clashed 24 times throughout their history - with 16 of those post World War II.

City have won 11 of those 24 games, losing only once of the last ten meetings.

Chesterfield have beaten City eight times with only four draws between the clubs.

City are unbeaten in the last five home meetings, with four wins and one draw - being last season's dour 0-0 draw just after Christmas, where Gary Madine went the closest after he hit the post.

The Sky Blues earned one of their finest results against the Spireites in the away fixture, as Grant Ward made his debut in a 3-2 win at the Proact Stadium.
