Coventry City's Adam Armstrong has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award for August.
The 18-year old, on loan from Newcastle United, made a sensational impact last month, scoring five goals in as many league games.
Armstrong netted a clinical brace against Wigan Athletic on the opening day of the season, before notching two more against Milwall, including a stunning 30-yard chip.
He then netted a crucial goal in the 3-2 win over Crewe Alexandra and has continually been a threat for the Sky Blues.
Armstrong is on the shortlist along with three other players - Gillingham's Bradley Dack, Walsall's Sam Mantom and Rochdale's Jim McNulty.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
