Coventry City Football Club launch new phone system to improve ticketing service

15 September 2015

The Sky Blues have carried out a range of improvements across the whole non-matchday and matchday ticketing service...

Coventry City Football Club have launched a new phone system following feedback from supporters.

The Sky Blues have made numerous improvements to the matchday and non-matchday ticketing service following problems ahead of the Crewe Alexandra game in August.

City have now moved into a new CCFC ticket office at Butts Park Arena for non-matchday purposes whilst the club use the Ricoh Arena ticket office throughout an entire matchday as well as other improvements.

Having listened to feedback from supporters, the club have now introduced a new and improved phone system which will just have one number and a queuing system.

Chief Executive Steve Waggott said: "Everyone at the club has been putting in maximum effort to try and improve all aspects of the club since the start of the season.

"One of the major causes for concern for me was that the old phone system very often cut people off and made it very difficult for supporters to buy tickets.

"Now, if you call, you will be given a number of where you are in the queue for tickets as well as numerous different options for other areas of the football club.

"We will also have more people manning the other end of the line so supporters should experience a vastly improved service. We've also been able to get the number to end in 1987 which is an added bonus."

The new Coventry City phone number is 02476 99 1987.
