Tom Bayliss opened the scoring and after finding themselves 2-1 down, the Sky Blues forced an own goal to earn a point...
Coventry City Under-18s came from behind to secure a point in a 2-2 draw against Queens Park Rangers.
Tom Bayliss opened the scoring for the young Sky Blues in a game which saw both sides reduced to ten men.
The Sky Blues had the lead after just six minutes thanks to a well worked counter attack lead by striker Dan Smith which saw Bayliss round off the impressive move in the area.
Odysseus Alfa then equalised for the R's on 34 minutes as he rounded Konrad Skuza and slotted into the net.
On the stroke of half-time, R's midfielder Michael Klass was sent off for violent conduct but moments after the interval, Dagree Mantsounga was also given his marching orders for a poorly timed tackle.
So with both teams reduced to ten men, the visitors took the lead after 53 minutes when Alfa netted his second with a good finish from an acute angle on the right-hand side.
But the Sky Blues rallied after the goal and managed to get the equaliser ten minutes later, when a cross from the right wasn't cleared by the QPR backline and an R's defender bundled the ball into his own net.
The result means the Sky Blues are unbeaten in their last three games in the league and are back in action on Wednesday against Bolton Wanderers away from home.
