The City midfielder also talks about his relationship with John Fleck here...

Coventry City midfielder Romain Vincelot is enjoying life with the club after his summer move from Leyton Orient.

Vincelot has played in every league game this campaign at the heart of City's midfield.

The 29-year old believes he has already proven that he made the right move from the O's and has netted one goal since his arrival, the controversial winner at Burton Albion when he helped Aaron Martin's certain goal over the line.

Vincelot wants to get another goal that he can truly claim is his but is just happy to be a part of a winning atmosphere at Ryton.

He said: "I would love to score another goal, the one at Burton Albion isn't really mine!

"It was important for me to get a new challenge in the summer and I've made the right choice without doubt. I just want to give everything I can to keep it going.

"Personally, the season is going good. When you are in a team that wins of course you're happy, we just want to keep it up."

In all of his appearances this campaign, the Frenchman has played alongside John Fleck at the heart of the City midfield.

Vincelot believes that him and Fleck provide a good blend in front of the back-four and admitted that he enjoys playing alongside the Scot and giving the team a physical presence in the middle of the pitch.

"I know Flecky now," he continued.

"We've played many times against each other and I knew he was good then. I was often pressing him and he wouldn't give it away! If you're in trouble just give him the ball and he'll deal with it. I really like being alongside him.

"We both know our strengths, but just because they are strengths it doesn't mean we aren't good at other things. Just because my biggest strength is to be hard and to win a tackle, it doesn't mean I can't pass the ball. Like Flecky, he is good at tackling too, so we're a good blend.

"Everyone knows I prefer to win a good 50/50 and give the ball to the creators and I think me and Flecky have done well together."
