INJURY NEWS: "Jordan Willis is the only injury concern." Coventry City's Tony Mowbray

29 October 2015

Mowbray expects Willis to miss out for a few weeks after picking up a knock in the 21s game...

Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray revealed that defender Jordan Willis is the only new injury concern heading into the game against Peterborough.

Willis, who picked up his initial knee injury against Walsall back in August, did participate in an Under-21 game this week in a bid to return to full fitness. But unfortunately, the 21-year old picked up a fresh knock which means he will miss out this weekend.

However, Mowbray did not want to put a date on the defender’s return as he is still in the process of recovery.

"Jordan Willis is still probably a few weeks away," said Mowbray.

"I think it is going to be a little bit more than one week because he’s done his knee.

"I don’t want to speculate how long it is going to be, but I think it is going to be longer than a week to put that right.

"But apart from Willis there are no fresh injury concerns."
