HEAD-TO-HEAD: Coventry City vs Shrewsbury Town - City have a slightly worse record in the head-to-head standings

2 October 2015

The Sky Blues haven't had the greatest run of form against the Shrews of late...

Coventry City have a slightly worse head-to-head record over Shrewsbury Town, largely thanks to the most recent results between the pair.

The Sky Blues have only played Shrewsbury four times since 1963 and in those four games, City have failed to win.

All four contests have been played since September 2012 and the Sky Blues only scored twice in those matches.

The first of those four was a massive 4-1 defeat, followed by a 1-0 defeat, a 1-1 draw and a 0-0 draw.

Our two goalscorers in those games have been John Fleck from the spot and Callum Wilson.

The four games have a major influence in the overall record with the Shrews having won ten, City winning nine and nine draws have been played out.
Let’s hope the Sky Blues can level the wins record after Saturday!
