Blackpool also have a better record in the head-to-head standings, see more here...
Coventry City head into tomorrow's game against Blackpool having won one of the last five meetings.
The last time City beat the Sky Blues was in 2009 in the Championship, when strikes from Guillaume Beuzelin and Michael Mifsud secured a 2-1 victory at the Ricoh Arena.
Since then, there have been two draws and two wins for Blackpool. The last time the pair clashed was in 2012, when Conor Thomas netted at Bloomfield Road before two late goals from Kevin Phillips and Gary Taylor-Fletcher condemned Andy Thorn's side to defeat.
The head-to-head standings of all time also result in the Tangerines' favour, with City winning eight times in the entire history of the fixture compared to Blackpool's 15.
There have only been four all-time draws with three of those coming in the last six games. Let's hope City can improve on that record on Saturday!
