Coventry City Football Club and The SFB Group are launching a new business club, backed by manager Tony Mowbray.

The Sky Blues have teamed up with The SFB Group, which is a firm of accountants, wealth managers, commercial insurance brokers and business advisers, to create a hub for business owners and directors to network and promote your business on matchdays at the Ricoh Arena.

The business club will include a range of benefits including three-course dining, use of meeting rooms on matchdays and will be the ideal opportunity to meet new contacts and grow your business, whilst supporting the Sky Blues.

Not only will the business club be a great opportunity to promote your business but it will also be tax-deductible and vat-refundable for the majority of businesses, and you will get use of the Chairmans Lounge for meetings and staff training on matchdays.

The club will be launched at Coventry City's home game against Peterborough United on Saturday, October 31st and Mowbray hopes to see as many business people as possible get involved with the club.

Mowbray said: "The most successful clubs in the country will always have the backing of local and national businesses, and we've got to aim for the same if we want to progress as a club.

"During my time at the club, I've met many local business people who care passionately about City and have backed us to do well which we're all thankful for.

"I'm sure there are many more businesses who want to get behind the club and hopefully, by launching a new business club, they will feel encouraged to get behind us this season and beyond."

CCFC Corporate Sales Manager Tynan Scope said: "This season, we're seeing more business owners and directors get involved with the club so we thought it represented the perfect opportunity to create a business club.

"In partnership with The SFB Group, we hope for as many local and national business people to take the opportunity to network and market their companies, but also watch the Sky Blues."

Paul Carvell, Managing Director of The SFB Group said: "We are really excited about this joint venture.  As a local business, we have supported the Sky Blues for many years. The synergies between sport and business are immense, so the SFB Business Club is the perfect opportunity to bring the two together.”

The SFB Group, which incorporates Stewart, Fletcher & Barrett chartered accountants, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. The firm has offices in Coventry, Nuneaton, Hinckley and Wakefield.

Places for the launch event are £80+vat per person and includes 3-course dining.  For further details or to book your place, email sfbbusinessclub@ccfc.co.uk or call 02476 99 1987 (option 2)
