FIVE THINGS: Here are five reasons why you should come and watch Coventry City in the Emirates FA Cup against Northampton!

6 November 2015

The Sky Blues take on Northampton and we're giving you five reasons why you should come and support us!

So it's time to begin our Emirates FA Cup run and we want to try and convince you all to get down to support Tony Mowbray's men against Northampton on Saturday!

So we thought we'd come up with five more reasons why you should come and watch the Sky Blues...

WE CAN HELP THE COBBLERS

Currently in financial difficulty, the Cobblers could be helped with a big crowd at the Ricoh Arena.

Northampton will receive 50% of the gate, so a number of fans could help the League Two side earn some much needed funds which could be pivotal over the next few weeks.

IT CAN'T BE WORSE THAN WORCESTER...

Last year, we crashed out of the first round in humiliating circumstances, as Mark Chapman kindly reminded us of several times during the cup draw.

We head into the game off two entertaining victories at the Ricoh Arena so surely, it can't be worse than last year's match!

WE'VE SCORED GOALS!

The last two home games have seen us net seven goals and the team are in excellent form. While Adam Armstrong and Ryan Kent can't play, the team are still full of confidence and keen for more goals after netting 31 in 18 games so far this campaign.

UNBEATEN HOME FORM

With eight games played at home so far this season, City have won six and drawn two, leaving us unbeaten at the Ricoh Arena.

We've also scored 18 home goals and conceded nine, so it's not a bad time to watch City at the Ricoh!

REDUCED TICKET PRICES

At £15 for Adults and £5 for concessions, tickets have been reduced from their usual matchday price! The club have made an effort to make the Emirates FA Cup a bit more affordable and hopefully a big gate can roar City onto victory.
