The Sky Blues face the Tykes this evening and we could see the return of one of last season's squad...

Ahead of tonight's game with Barnsley, we look at three players who have played for both sides, including a player from last season who could be involved against the Sky Blues tonight...

Simeon Jackson

A Sky Blues player last season, 28-year-old Jackson was a free agent after leaving City in the summer.

The Canadian international signed for the Tykes in September and has started once since then, coming off the bench a further four times. He could be involved tonight.

During his time with City last year he made 30 appearances and scored three goals.

Martin Cranie

Cranie was a Sky Blues player for three-years between 2009-2012. He was offered a new deal but opted to join Barnsley. After three-years with the Tykes, he moved to Championship side Huddersfield Town in the summer.

Kevin Richardson

The former England international racked up an impressive 578 league appearances during the span of his career, playing for the likes of Arsenal and Everton, not to mention City and Barnsley. He also won two Division One titles with the Gunners and the Toffees.

During his two-year stay at Highfield Road, he made 78 appearances scoring three goals, between 1995/97. He then moved on to Southampton before playing for the Tykes between 1998-2000, where he made 30 appearances.
