MY FIVE-A-SIDE: Coventry City's Jack Finch and Dion Kelly-Evans reveal their best five-a-side teams!

27 May 2015

Finch and Dion name their best five-a-side team at the moment and one they have played with and against here...

Just one of the features we ran in our matchday programme PUSB from your Sky Blues squad is our five-a-side feature, where we ask a member of your City squad who they would pick in their best five-a-side team and the best five they have played with/against!

So Jack Finch and Dion Kelly-Evans did the feature together of who they would pick in their combined two squads! This feature is previously unseen and didn't make PUSB, but don't forget we want your ideas for PUSB next season, so email Design@ccfc.co.uk with any ideas you may have!

Hugo Lloris

"We need a quick 'keeper in goal," Dion said, so Finch suggested Hugo Lloris and the pair mutually agreed the Tottenham stopper would be the perfect pick.

Thiago Silva

Dion and JJ were in agreement that the PSG skipper is "the best centre-back in the world", so they couldn't not pick him really!

Lionel Messi

Messi, the most popular pick in the Sky Blues squad, makes Finch and Dion's five over Cristiano Ronaldo.

Paul Pogba

Dion believes that Pogba has "everything," and Finch didn't argue with Dion's pick. The Juventus midfielder has been heavily linked with a transfer away from the Old Lady this summer.

Alexis Sanchez

The forward position was one that both Dion and Finch struggled to chose. Diego Costa was a close contender but Finch put forward his case for Sanchez as a more mobile option.

Played with/against XI

Dorus De Vries

Both Dion and Finch played against De Vries who featured for the Nottingham Forest Under-21s when City faced them earlier in the season. De Vries made a good save to deny Finch so maybe that swayed that one!

Frank Moussa

"The goals he scored in training were unbelievable," Dion said. While a tough decision was made not to include any defenders, Finch agreed with Dion's pick.

Ross Barkley

Finch played against Barkley for the Under-21s against Everton a few years back. "Lee Carsley told me to go and man mark Barkley," Finch said. "He was quality but I thought I did a good job. He didn't score either but he looked the part even back then."

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Dion picked Loftus-Cheek having played against the current Chelsea man. Dion referred to him as "the best player I've seen at youth level" and it is hard to disagree with him on the cusp of breaking into the first-team regularly at Chelsea.

Andy Johnson

Former Crystal Palace, Fulham and QPR striker Johnson played against Dion and Finch for the Palace Under-21s earlier in the season. He scored a wonderful goal and his all round display impressed our young duo.
