The Sky Blues defender played 90 minutes in all three qualification games to help Ireland reach the finals for the first time since 2008...
Coventry City Under-18s defender Darragh Leahy helped the Republic of Ireland Under-17s side qualify for the UEFA U17 Championships finals.
Leahy played the full 90 minutes for the young Irish side as they were beaten 1-0 by Poland, but the result was enough to give them qualification for the U17s Championships for the first time since 2008.
In the two previous qualification games, Ireland secured a 2-2 with Greece and beat Belarus 3-1 in the lead up to the final group match against Poland, with Leahy playing the full 90 minutes in both of those games.
The young defender looks set for a place at the tournament which takes place in Bulgaria in May.
