INJURY NEWS: "Tudgay is a doubt while we don't want to rush Johnson and Maddison." Coventry City's Tony Mowbray

The Sky Blues boss revealed that Johnson may play on Thursday while Maddison and Tudgay will not be rushed...

Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray has revealed that tomorrow night's game has come too early for Marcus Tudgay, Reda Johnson and James Maddison.

Tudgay had a reoccurance of his hamstring injury against Peterborough on Saturday, while Johnson is in training but lacks match fitness.

Maddison played 60 minutes for the Under-21s last night but Mowbray doesn't believe any of the trio will play.

"Marcus Tudgay is a doubt after tweaking his hamstring against Peterborough," Mowbray said.

"Reda is closer but he's probably not ready. It's a similar situation to Maddison, they've both been out for a good few weeks so it's important we can get them back pretty soon. But once they're back we have to make sure they are back and fully fit, not suseptable to injury and ready to come back full pelt.

"We will think about Reda for Thursday but if not, he will have another good weeks training."
