The manager also revealed that Reda Johnson is about a week away from a return...
Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray has revealed that James Maddison won't make Saturday's game against Peterborough.
The 18-year old last played for the Sky Blues on Boxing Day at Doncaster before suffering a back injury, but Mowbray admits despite a good week in training, the game on Saturday has come too soon for the Academy graduate.
"James Maddison is not far away and Reda Johnson is a week away, that feels like two new signings," Mowbray said.
"Young Maddison is a confident boy and wants to play. He has trained this week but it's come too soon for him. He will play in the Under-21s on Monday, I want to see him with my eyes before I put him in the first team to see what im
pact he can have."
