10 March 2015

The Bantams haven't won at City for 11 years but have the edge overall when it comes to facing the Sky Blues...

Coventry City face Bradford tomorrow night at the Ricoh Arena in a SkyBet League One clash and the Bantams will hope that the head to head record continues in their favour.

Bradford have the clear edge, winning nine times compared to City’s six.

There have been 10 draws between the two sides, the last of which occurring in April 2014 when the sides played out a 0-0 draw.

City’s record win is a 4-0 victory in 2001, with a double from Lee Hughes, David Thompson and Julian Joachim scoring the goals.

In the same season the Sky Blues lost 2-1 at Valley Parade. Goals from Andy Myers and Gary Locke overcame a Jay Bothroyd strike for City.

The most common scoreline is 1-0, a result that has happened on five different occasions.

City haven't lost to Bradford at home since 2003, however the last two occasions have seen draws, first at Highfield Road and then at Sixfields, both 0-0 draws.
