Coventry City supporters have less than a month to claim their early bird Season Ticket discount for the 2015/16 season

The club have reached a quarter of their overall target of 6,000 Season Ticket holders, join that number before early bird prices expire!

Coventry City supporters have less than a month to claim their early bird discount on a Season Ticket for the 2015/16 season.

The Sky Blues have now reached a quarter of their overall target of 6,000 Season Ticket holders after cutting prices by more than 25 per cent during the early bird period, which ends on June 30 before going up to full price on July 1.

Adult Season Ticket prices have been set at £249 during early bird with concessions prices down to £191, JSBs aged 12-16 are priced from £23 and JSBs under-12 are free in the family zone.

Chief executive Steve Waggott said it had been a positive start to the summer.

He said: "We're making positive steps to attract supporters.

"With today's announcement of Mark Venus and Jamie Clapham joining Tony Mowbray's staff, we are moving in the right direction and shows we are providing Tony with the platform to be
successful.

"We're pleased to have reached the 25 per cent mark of our 6,000 sales target and we're working hard behind the scenes to provide Tony and his staff with the resources they need to give supporters an exciting 2015/16 campaign.

"The early bird offer makes us the fourth cheapest ticket in League One and we have really strived to make football more affordable for our supporters.

“Now there’s less than a month to go for fans to snap up a Season Ticket at the early bird price and I am sure that will lead to a spike in sales over the next few weeks.”

The club introduced a flat rate for Season Tickets of £249 for adults who buy in the early-bird period, which is £96 cheaper than a standard zone Season Ticket last season and equates to less than £11 per match.

There is no longer a premium zone at the Ricoh Arena as blocks 19, 20 and 21 will enjoy standard zone pricing, while the family zone is moving to blocks 23 and 24 in the East Stand.

And the club’s commitment to attracting the next generation of Coventry City fans remains firm, with Junior Sky Blues (JSBs) under the age of 12 eligible for a free Season Ticket in the family zone.

JSBs aged between 12 and 16 have seen their Season Tickets in the family zone reduced to £23, which is just £1 per game.

Concessions Season Tickets have also dropped to £191 from £230 in the standard zone last season, and that equates to just over £8 per game.

Early Bird Season Tickets are now on sale and will rise to full price on Wednesday, July 1.

Supporters are able to buy on the web at www.ccfcshop.co.uk and they are available over the phone on 024 7699 2326 or 024 7699 2332 or in person at the CCFC Superstore.
