Coventry City Season Ticket sales continue to rise despite Gallagher Retail Park store closure

The Sky Blues have moved over their sales operation online and over the phones during store period of transition...

Coventry City Season Ticket sales continue to rise despite Gallagher Retail Park store closure.

The club is in the process of moving its superstore at the Gallagher Retail Park to a new unit that will be run in partnership with Just Sport at Arena Park.

The Gallagher Retail Park site closed it's doors for the last time yesterday, before the new shop opens on Wednesday, July 1.

To recognise this short period without a retail outlet, the club has extended the early bird period until the end of Sunday, July 5.

During this period of transition, online sales have continued via www.ccfcshop.co.uk and telephone sales are available on 024 7699 2326 on June 26, 29 and 30 from 9.30am until 5pm.

The club are now past the 3600 mark with season ticket sales and chief executive Steve Waggott has praised the reaction to the early bird extension.

Waggott said: "The club has appreciated it is a difficult period of transition for supporters to renew or buy their season ticket.

"As a result, we've placed extra resources on our online and telephone sales presence to make sure you are with the Sky Blues for the 2015/16 season.

"The reaction to the extension of the early bird deadline has been great and more people have taken advantage of the reduced prices."
