"Every single supporter will matter as we look to get Coventry City back out of this division." Tony Mowbray

The Sky Blues are now 1000 Season Tickets away from reaching the target of 5750 and Mowbray has encouraged City fans to back the side...

Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray has expressed his gratitude to the 4750 supporters who have purchased their Season Ticket for the 2015/16 campaign.

The Sky Blues have crept ever closer to the 5000 mark over the past few days with just three weeks until the opening day clash with Wigan Athletic at the Ricoh Arena.

Those figures mean that City are only 1000 tickets off their initial target of 5750 Season Ticket sales which was set at the start of the sale period.

And Mowbray, who penned a two-year deal with the club back in May, is eager to see more Sky Blues fans get behind him and the team and help the club surpass the target which will assist him in improving things on the pitch.

The manager said: "I've been told we're just 1000 Season Ticket sales away from reaching our target and this season, every single supporter will matter as we look to get Coventry City back out of this division.

"We're grateful to every person that has paid for a Season Ticket or match package to date, as it all goes into our pot to help us provide the right structure and put the right team in place.

"We're working tirelessly behind the scenes to get the right players in. We were pleased to bring in Sam Ricketts, Romain Vincelot and Reda Johnson and now we need to focus on building on our creativity and forward line in the market.

“There are a few things in the pipeline but the more Season Tickets we sell, the more resources we have to improve our personnel and create a buzz at the Ricoh once again.

“I’m really looking forward to the new season and I hope as many City fans as possible will get behind us as we will need them throughout the campaign.”

Adults can purchase their Season Ticket at £299, which equates to just £13 a game for the new season.

Concessions tickets work out at just £10 a game, (£230,) while JSB Juniors will be £46 in the Standard Zone or £23 in the Family Zone – which is the same price as they were in the Early Bird period.

JSBs Under 12 Season Tickets are still FREE in the Family Zone or just £23 in the Standard Zone when they are accompanied by a paying adult.

Season Tickets are on sale now at www.ccfcshop.co.uk, in store and over the phone on 024 7699 2326 (Weekdays, 9:30am to 5pm).
