Coventry City manager Steven Pressley revealed to the Coventry Telegraph that the club are looking at a couple of options as they look to replace Ryan Allsop.
The 22 year-old stopper returned to Bournemouth earlier this week as his loan deal expired.
Despite looking for a replacement, Pressley hinted that Lee Burge may start on Saturday against Yeovil in what could be his first appearance since November.
“We need to bring in another goalkeeper but there’s not a great deal out there that are absolutely ready to go," Pressley said.
"It’s obviously not a perfect scenario. We’ve been mulling over a couple of things but hadn’t had an outcome on it so it was a difficult situation with Ryan.
“We never ruled out the possibility that he would return but the way he’s been talking it was in his best interests that he went back to Bournemouth.
“It could be an opportunity for Lee depending on how progress goes this week with recruitment.
“He’s been working away extremely hard after the disappointment of the Cup and he’s responded properly and kept his head down.
