Coventry City were held to a 0-0 draw away to Yeovil Town at Huish Park.
Gary Madine missed a second-half penalty for the Sky Blues who couldn't break down the Glovers.
The first real action came on 18 minutes when Simeon Jackson surged through from the half-way line only to be brought down by Yeovil defender Stephen Arthurworrey, but the referee opted for a yellow card despite the Canadian being one-on-one with the Keeper.
Alex Smith then went close for the hosts as his effort just outside the area flew narrowly wide of Jamie Jones' left-hand post.
On the stroke of half-time, Jackson almost poked the visitors ahead as he latched on to Frank Nouble's cross from the right but his effort while off balance went narrowly wide from eight-yards out.
But the Sky Blues started the second-half brightly and were given a penalty on 50 mins when Reda Johnson was bundled over by Seth Twumasi as he latched on to Jackson's clever through ball in the box, but Madine's low effort from the spot-kick was brilliantly saved by Jed Steer to the left.
Yeovil should have taken the lead when Jamar Loza had a free effort from eight-yards out, but he blazed his shot over when it looked a certain goal was to follow.
Jackson was then subbed for Marcus Tudgay with 20 mins to go and he helped create the Sky Blues' next opportunity, as he drove into the box and the ball bounced to Madine who curled a left footed effort narrowly wide of the right post.
But Yeovil almost snatched a winner when Kieffer Moore met Ajay Leitch-Smith's cross but his header from eight-yards went narrowly wide of the right post.
That was the last of the action as the Sky Blues took a deserved point from Huish Park.
