Coventry City loanee Josh McQuoid has returned to parent club Bournemouth for treatment on an achilles injury.McQuoid scored five goals in 19 appearances since joining City on loan back in August.
Manager Steven Pressley added that the club will not be pursuing a move for McQuoid in the January transfer window.
"Josh McQuoid is back at Bournemouth receiving treatment," the manager said.
"His loan runs out in eight or nine days so he's unlikely to feature and now he is back there.
"It will be a situation where we won't extend his loan."
