Madine, who was recently on loan to the Sky Blues from Sheffield Wednesday, also made 3 appearances for Rochdale back in March 2009, while on a month-long loan from his first club Carlisle.

Madine made 11 appearances this season since joining City in October 2014, netting 3 times for the club.

Dele Adebola

Dele Adebola signed for Coventry from Crystal Palace on a free transfer in June 2003, where he made 182 appearances for the club scoring 36 goals.

He then had spells a series of clubs before signing for Rochdale in August 2012, where he made 29 appearances, scoring 6 goals.

He currently plays for non-league side Rushall Olympic following his release from Rochdale in 2013.

Clive Platt

Platt also a striker to play for both clubs, signed for Rochdale in September 1999 from Walsall, scoring 34 goals in 171 appearances before leaving the club in August 2003.

After having spells at numerous clubs, Platt signed for Coventry City on the 29th July 2010. He went on to score seven goals in 70 appearances for the Sky Blues, with one of them being his 100th professional goal.

Platt retired in 2014 due to persistent injury problems.
