BETTING PREVIEW: Coventry City are 23/10 outsiders to beat Swindon Town in front of the Sky cameras tonight

12 January 2015

City hoping to replicate their last performance on live TV when they beat Gillingham but will have to beat table-topping Swindon to do so...

Coventry City take on Swindon Town at the Ricoh Arena tonight in a SkyBet League One clash and there are some great prices and price boosts on offer if you fancy getting in on the action.

City are 21/10 to get the job done, with the Robins 6/5 favourites. The draw is available at 23/10 if you think the Sky Blues will extend their unbeaten home run to four matches.

The last time Coventry were in front of the Sky cameras was that famous night against Gillingham as the Sky Blues returned home. They won 1-0 then and you can get 10/1 for lightning striking twice.

There are some tempting boosts available from today only, such as the aforementioned 1-0 scoreline being boosted from 8/1 to 10/1. You can also get 9/1 (boosted from 15/2) on Marcus Tudgay to score the first goal.

Frank Nouble became City's first permanent signing of the transfer window last week and a score cast of him to score first and the Sky Blues to win 2-1 has been boosted to a massive 66/1, which surely offers some great value.

In the first goalscorers market the usual suspects lead the way. For City Gary Madine is the 13/2 favourite. Frank Nouble and Simeon Jackson are 7/1. A little further afield sees Jim O'Brien at 11/1 and fellow midfielder John Fleck at 10/1.

For the visitors the duo of Andy Williams and Michael Smith have been terrorising League One defences all season. They are both 9/2 to break the deadlock tonight. Jonathon Obika is next favourite at 11/2. with Jermaine Hylton just behind him at 6/1.

The Sky Blues will be looking to build on the great 1-0 win against Walsall last week and will have to be at their best to beat the Robins tonight. There could well be goals in this match and with a chance of doubling your money by backing over 2.5 goals, it seems a great price to put some money in your pocket.

In a new feature, our resident Sky Blues Tipster will be placing a £10 bet on his Hot-tip, as well as £10 to place on his longshot. We will be tracking his profits (or losses!) over the course of the season so you can see where you would be if you followed his tips!

The Tipster produced stunning form on Saturday as his 5-fold longshot (Birmingham, Brentford, Barnsley, Burton and Newport) came in at a whopping 36/1! Can he make it a staggering two from two for the weekend?
