Coventry City manager Steven Pressley hopes to get permission for Forest Green defender Chris Stokes to play in the Under-21s game on Wednesday.
The 23-year old has been training with the Sky Blues as manager Steven Pressley casts his eye over the defender who has made more than 130 appearances for Forest Green.
The Under-21s travel to Crewe Alexandra on Wednesday, February 11th, with kick-off at 1pm, with the first-team in action against Scunthorpe United the night before.
The City manager confirmed the defender has been training with the team and hopes to see him play in a competitive fixture.
Pressley said: "We've been given a good chance to have a look at him in training.
"We're hoping we can get permission to play him in the Under-21s game on Wednesday as that will give us a good chance to look at how he plays.
"If that's the case, we'll get a proper look at him. He's performed well but we'll make a decision on him hopefully in the next three or four days."
