Coventry City midfielder Jack Finch spoke exclusively to match-day programme PUSB and revealed that he is desperate to stay with the club.Finch has made 19 appearances for City this season and told PUSB that not only would he like to sign a new contract, but he also admitted that he is suprised how this season has gone for him personally.
“I don’t mean it in a negative way, my initial plan this campaign was to keep learning the game in the Under-21s and was hoping to prove myself there to be lucky enough to get some sub appearances," Finch explained.
“I was hoping to give myself a foundation to build on for next season, but it’s been absolutely incredible for me this season and the amount of games I’ve played.
"Of course I’d like to sign a new deal, hopefully the gaffer likes me! I would love to continue to develop here, I feel this is the right club for me. We’ll have to see but hopefully I can do well on the pitch and earn a new deal.”
