Coventry City manager Steven Pressley revealed to the Coventry Telegraph that the club's transfer business has not ended despite the main January transfer window closing on Monday.

The club brought in both Blair Turgott and Luke Williams on deadline day as the squad was bolstered throughout the window with seven new faces.

But Pressley is hopeful that the business will not stop there as he aims to bring in cover at left-back and a defensive midfield player.

“We are looking for a more defensive midfielder,” said Pressley.

“One we were looking at late in the window didn’t materialise but we’re going to assess what loans are available and players who have maybe had their contract terminated.

“Then we’ll put an action plan together because it’s an area we’d like to get additional cover in.

“We’re going to have a look at the left-back position because Reda Johnson’s had quite a lot of injuries and we need additional cover there as well as the other side.

"We have certainly tried to address the problem of our attacking threat and trying to bring in a greater degree of speed and creativity into the side, and I hope that we can be successful."
