HEAD TO HEAD: Coventry City hold a slight edge over MK Dons in the all time head to head fixtures

28 February 2015

Only five games have been played between Coventry City and MK Dons but they have resulted in some memorable games and goals…

Coventry City take on MK Dons in a SkyBet League One clash tomorrow at the Ricoh Arena and the all time record reads in the Sky Blues' favour.

In the five meetings between the sides, City have won 2, with the Dons winning once. There have been two draws, the last of which occurring in August when the two teams played out a 0-0 draw at Stadium:MK.

Before that there had been a deluge of goals, with both teams scoring in every match played. Every Sky Blue fan will remember the 3-1 victory in 2013 when 7,000 of the Sky Blue Army travelled to Buckinghamshire to see Chris Maguire score two free-kicks to stun the hosts.

Before that, the last City win came in 2012 when they racked up a 3-2 scoreline. Daniel Powell scored for the Dons before Franck Moussa equalised.

Ryan Lowe gave the Dons the lead again, but two goals from Steven Elliott in the second half turned the game on its head and gave the Sky Blues all three points.

One player that will not be playing for City in this fixture for the first time at the Ricoh is Carl Baker, who will be lining up for the Dons instead.
