Coventry City Football Club has joined the Coventry and Warwickshire Champions.
The Champions aims to unite businesses, organisations and individuals across the area in a powerful network to help develop and promote Coventry and Warwickshire and raise its profile outside the region.
Champions are proactive advocates for Coventry and Warwickshire who want to help influence how the area is perceived and portrayed, and make sure it is talked about in the right places and by the right people.
Tynan Scope, corporate sales manager for Coventry City Football Club, said: “We are delighted to join the Champions.
“The club is committed to working with local businesses and organisations across the city and the county and playing an active part in the Champions is one of the ways we are doing that.”
Les Ratcliffe, chairman of the Place Board, said: “We are delighted to welcome Coventry City Football Club into Coventry and Warwickshire Champions.
“Sport is of huge importance to the success of a region and, therefore, CCFC are a vital organisation for Coventry and Warwickshire.”
