BETTING PREVIEW: Coventry City are 14/5 to beat MK Dons in their SkyBet League One clash tomorrow

27 February 2015

The Sky Blues are slight outsiders to win the game and if you fancy a flutter on the action then SkyBet have all the odds covered…

Coventry CIty take on MK Dons in a SkyBet League One clash tomorrow at the Ricoh Arena and SkyBet have a range of betting options if you want a piece of the action.

City go into the game as 14/5 outsiders, with the Dons priced at evens. The draw is available at 12/5, with that result occurring in the reverse fixture between the two teams, a 0-0 in August at Stadium:MK.

The Sky Blues go into the game after gaining a point at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United. If you fancy another 2-2 scoreline after last Saturday then it is available at a sizeable 14/1.

This game has produced goals in the past with only the last game in August resulting in 90 minutes where both sides did not find the back of the net. Both teams to score is just 4/5 for the pattern to continue.

City have not won at the Ricoh Arena since November and are targeting a win to push themselves clear of the SkyBet League One relegation zone. Interim manager Neil MacFarlane has stressed the importance of the game to the players and a 13/2 chance of City to win and both teams to score cannot be ruled out.

In the first goalscorer markets there is a number of names standing out. Nick Proschwitz has joined on loan from Brentford until the end of the season and is 8/1 to mark his debut with the opening strike.

Marcus Tudgay is the 7/1 favourite for the Sky Blues, with Frank Nouble 8/1 and young George Thomas just behind him at 9/1 to score his first senior goal.

For the Dons on-form Will Grigg is 5/1 joint favourite to bag the opener. Partner Devante Cole is also 5/1, with Tom Hitchcock at 6's and George Williams at 7/1, along with Dean Bowditch.

It promises to be a tense game at the Ricoh and City are hoping that a change of management will result in a change of results.

There is no reason City can't end their bad run here and the insurance of draw no bet at 2/1 is my hot tip of the day.

In a new feature, our resident Sky Blues Tipster will be placing a £10 bet on his Hot-tip, as well as £10 to place on his longshot. We will be tracking his profits (or losses!) over the course of the season so you can see where you would be if you followed his tips!

Finally some luck for the Tipster as his evens tip of both teams to score last Saturday comes in! Can he make it two in a row tomorrow?
