WATCH: Coventry City's Goal of the Year competition - 2015

31 December 2015

We've got a great selection of goals for you to choose from so watch the video and vote for your favourite...

It has been a fantastic year for goals so we thought we'd run our very own Goal of the Year contest!

With each Goal of the Month hotly contested, it is going to be a tight contest with the likes of Joe Cole, Adam Armstrong and James Maddison all competing for top spot.

We've selected each Goal of the Month from this season, last season's Goal of the Season, two goals from this month (which are yet to contest a GOTM competition) and two other goals selected by our very own football department.

The closing date is Thursday, January 7th at midday.

The choices...

A - Jim O'Brien v Walsall (14/15 season)
Last season's Goal of the Season and Jim's powerful effort will definitely be up there again!

B - Dominic Samuel v Sheffield United (14/15 season)
One of the picks from the football department, a great individual goal on the counter-attack from Dominic.

C - Adam Armstrong v Millwall (15/16 season)
Instinctive and brilliant, Armstrong makes a fool out of Millwall keeper David Forde.

D - Jacob Murphy v Walsall (15/16 season)
It didn't win Goal of the Month, but still deserves to be in with a shout for the Year crown.

E - Adam Armstrong v Peterborough (15/16 season)
What a moment and how about the skill to match, a fantastic match-winner from Armstrong.

F - Joe Cole v Barnsley (15/16 season)
A 30-yard free-kick into the top corner, what more do you want!?

G - James Maddison v Port Vale (15/16 season)
Just back from injury, turns the Port Vale defender and rifles home from 25-yards.

H - James Maddison v Chesterfield (15/16 season)
Up and over the wall, and the keeper never moved. Fantastic from Maddison
