INJURY NEWS: "It's a wait and see situation with Aaron Martin for Crewe." - Coventry City's Tony Mowbray

The City boss was also happy to admit he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to Gresty Road...

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray admitted it was 'wait and see' on defender Aaron Martin ahead of the weekend's game.

The Sky Blues centre-back missed the 1-1 draw against Chesterfield due to an ankle injury and didn't train on Thursday.

The 26-year old will be assessed by the club's medical staff ahead of the trip to Gresty Road as City look to maintain their 4th position in the League One.

Mowbray said: "It's a wait and see situation for us really. He has to be properly assessed by our medical team and see if he's fit to play.

"We'll see how he is over the next day or so and then a decision will made on his fitness and if he can play.

"If he doesn't make it, then I thought Chris Stokes did really well filling in at centre-back against Chesterfield so we've got that option.

"We've got no other fresh injury concerns ahead of the game."
