There will be a festive feel at the Ricoh Arena ahead of the Sky Blues’ Christmas Cracker fixture with Oldham Athletic on December 19.
City have cut ticket prices to £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for children for the match and there will be a Christmas atmosphere during the build-up to the game too.
Members of Coventry 23 and Nuneaton 136 Round Tables will be carrying out charity collections on the day and will have a Santa’s Sleigh outside the Match day Ticket Office at the Ricoh Arena.
Fifty per cent of the money raised by the Round Table will go to local charities while the other half will go towards the Round Table Children’s Wish fund, which helps to arrange bespoke wishes for children with life threatening illnesses.
Tom Atkins, co-ordinator of the Round Table collections, said: "It was great to have a collection at last year’s festive fixture, and we’re delighted the Sky Blues have allowed us back this time around. Hopefully we can replicate the total of over £1400 raised last year ,by generous Sky Blues fans, and then some.
"I am a Season Ticket holder and many of the Round Table members are fans of the Sky Blues too, and we’ve all been delighted with the club’s form this season under Tony Mowbray, and long may it continue.
"There will be around 20 of us there on the day collecting money with our Santa Sleigh stationed by the Casino.
"Hopefully we can raise lots of money to help local causes and also to help make the wishes of children with life threatening illnesses come true."
