Coventry City accepts one-match touchline ban for Crewe Alexandra game after misconduct charge

The City boss will be in the director's box for the trip to Gresty this weekend after he was sent to the stands...

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray will serve a one-match touchline ban with immediate effect after he admitted an FA misconduct charge following the game against Chesterfield on Saturday, December 28th.
 
It was alleged that in or around the 79th minute of the fixture his language and/or behaviour towards a Match Official was improper and/or abusive and/or insulting.
 
Sky Blues manager Mowbray accepted the standard penalty for the offence which also included a £1,000 fine.

The City boss will be in the director's box for our next game against Crewe Alexandra, with first-team coach Jamie Clapham and goalkeeping coach Steve Ogrizovic in the dugout.
